IADE

Integrated Agent Development Environment

VibeX is an all-in-one coding platform for unifying and collaborating across many agents. An IDE is an integrated development environment; VibeX is a native Integrated Agent Development Environment, built for agents from the ground up.

AnthropicBuilt-in

Claude Code

Anthropic's terminal agent. Built into VibeX.

Claude Code is Anthropic's official agentic coding tool, connected to VibeX through its ACP adapter. It is strong at long-context reading, refactors, and edits that follow repo conventions. Use a Claude subscription or an API key. Inside VibeX it shares the same session, permission, and worktree pipeline as every other agent.

Why VibeX

FAQ

How is VibeX different from an IDE like VS Code?

VS Code was not built as an agent-native IDE. Agent features, multi-agent collaboration, multi-workspace and multi-session management are all tightly constrained. Almost all of its agent capability comes from plugins, the surface it can own is limited, and it carries a heavy legacy. Agent-deep IDEs such as Trae, Qoder, and Cursor have largely recognized that limit and changed course. VibeX is a true agent-native IDE — think Claude Code Desktop + Codex + DSH in one place. On one platform you can freely manage and use 38 common agents, collaborate through Graph Workflows and agent delegation, and deeply customize both the platform and the agents with plugins. It exists for AI, and it more than triples development speed.

Is my data safe?

VibeX runs fully locally. Desktop or Server, there is no VibeX cloud involved. We commit that the open-source VibeX will not use or upload any user data. Use it with confidence.

Why is it called VibeX?

VibeCoding is a popular way to build with agents. VibeX is more than coding: it is a general base for a Vibe way of working where people and agents collaborate efficiently. Register any agent through the ACP registry, and extend the platform and agents with plugins. X stands for fusion and being able to do it all — that is the vision: a true general foundation for the agent era.

Why not just use an official app from an agent vendor like Codex?

Products come from pain. Apps like Codex (now ChatGPT) only ship their own agent. Different agents and models differ in capability, price, and strengths; exploring more ways to collaborate is the path. Those apps also do not match how developers work: editing files and docs, reading code, Git, and many sessions are all thin. An agent platform is not just a prettier CLI — it should be a full set of services around the agent.

What does the VibeX logo mean?

Old agent tradition: every logo has to look like dermatitis.
